Monday ...

Kennt ihr das Lied "I don't like Mondays"?
Do you know the song "I don't like Mondays?"

Actually most of the time I do like Mondays. Going back to normal especially after an exciting weekend as it was. My son had his birthday party with 12 boys running around like crazy. After the party we had a little snack at the big yellow M and he was allowed to spend some of his money at the toys shop across.

I did give it a try but Susan it was way to much chocolate!!!
Finally I found some motivation to restart the quilt for my little girl. I started hating it (threw it, ripped it, stitched it, embroidered it, shouted at it, screamed ...) and because it was a lovely day I started to do at least one half. First I had to rip a seam and this was really hard work. I will think very hard before I try this again.

Success!!!
After I finished ripping the seam and removing the thread with the tweezers I could start the stitching. It was a horrible work! But finally I could start the stitching I planed a long time ago. Half of the quilt is done. Success! There are still some seams to be ripped but who cares! Half way through is an amazing progress.

Sometimes my fingers are faster than my head and so I miss some steps. Unfortunately that is me! Everything planed in my head and thinking the way through when doing the steps sometimes I take two where it would be better to take one. So on the last stitches I was already at school to pick up the kids when I stung my finger and ... yes! There is a bloody spot now! Oh no!!!

Anyway I am happy that half of the quilt is done. One more day and the binding. Could only take some more weeks ;)
